Following a career in the fashion industry working with global luxury premium brands as well as the mid market, I became a professional educator applying all my learning from industry, to fashion education. I saw the negative impact of western buying practices at first hand through my  personal experience of visiting factories in the Far East and knew that we had to re-educate the next generation of fashion professionals to work differently. 
I have worked in Higher Education for some prestigious universities in positions from Senior Lecturer to Course Leader and latterly Associate Dean.

Two years ago, a life changing event forced a re-think of how I'd like to work going forward.  When an opportunity arose to work in a consultancy capacity, I grasped the chance to free myself of organisational  hierarchies  and the limitations of peak price travel that goes along with school and university life. 

 As a professional Consultant , I have been able to work flexibly on some fantastic 'projects of passion'.
